Lovely Evening

Standard

After work yesterday, my two coworkers and I drove into La Jolla to meet a former coworker for dinner at Sushi on the Rock. Sushi was eaten. Bellies were stuffed. There were even sweet potato fries involved. We then ambled down to the Haagen Daaz store, because, clearly, we had not eaten enough. While eating our cones, we walked around the edge of La Jolla, just as the sun was setting and it was so pretty.

This is looking northeast back towards SIO.
There were some guys with some SERIOUS camera equipment, which Karin recognized as a panoramic lens. It was HUUUGE. They also had a beefy tripod. Eventually, it got cool, and we headed back to work to pick up our cars and head home. Not before I mentioned that I’d see them again in only 12 hours!

Got home, Mike gave me a foot rubbie, and I nearly passed out on the couch at 8p. He convinced me to get up and play WoW with him to keep me awake.

I know this is not something really talk about on here, but yes, we have been playing WoW some. Anyways, the point of this is that we did a quest to free these baby winged lion things, which made me giddy, much like when we got to feed the griffs. Mike’s character (which you can see in the background, swinging his/her axe) was busy actually killing the guys we were looking for, and I (the large blue cat–I was in cat form) was running around freeing trapped baby lion things. And then they follow you around! (For a few minutes). Say it with me, aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww!

(and then you go kill a bad guy that was trapping the baby lion things and the baby lion things pile on top of him and drop him off a cliff. Yay!)

More quests need to involve baby lion things and adorableness.
