Errands & Date Night

Standard

Mike is really excited about his new computer, arriving soon. Really, really excited. So excited that he wanted to go to the bookstore on campus yesterday to buy a new case for the computer that is not here yet.

So he drove up to my work and we took the shuttle to campus. He bought a new Incase (also my bag brand of preference, I have an earlier model of this) and Logic Pro. We shuttled back down and then set out to walk down to the shores to go to dinner at Piatti’s, one of my favorite restaurants.

En route, we stopped in the admin building, where I showed him our new Geekette digs, now with more elbow room and french fry smell!

Anyways, we got to the restaurant, and sat outside, because they have wicked good heaters and it was very pleasant out. And I dove face first into this:

I just googled it and some random site claims the ingredients are as follows:
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
5 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese
fresh parsley, chopped (for color)
crushed red pepper flakes

Whatever it is, I would take a bath it in. Along with some garlic sauce from Aladdin. Mmm, garlic sauce.

Anyways, after the bread-nanza, we settled in and had a lovely dinner. And then we had to walk back to work. It was about 2.5 miles in total out and back.

Then we got home, and got our Costco rewards, and cashed them in at Costco.
Then we got home, and Mike rubbed my feet and we both fell asleep on the couch around 9. Woops. We are SO MUCH FUN.
